Thomas Wally is currently working on a new composition for the Swiss Mondrian Ensemble. One movement is going to be premiered as part of the ensemble’s 25th birthday concerts in Switzerland (Zurich, Baden, Basel) in June 2026. The whole trio will be premiered in the season 2027/2028.

The composition of the new string trio is supported by the SKE-Fonds and by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport.
